Dr. Howard Mandell is the most phenomenal Dr. I have ever been to!! He listened to everything I had to say and he did not dismiss my concerns at all!! He did everything he could to figure out what was going on with me. He is the most compassionate, caring, and understanding Dr. I have ever met!! I fully recommend him to everyone!! I have suffered for 11 yrs and gotten no help from other Dr.'s until I came to his office and a little over a month and I finally have answers. He is the sweetest and just best Dr. out here!! The staff is wonderful too!! There are not enough words to describe how amazing he is!!!!

Did not listen to my concerns and basically blew me off when I told him how much pain I was in, he actually got really rude when he had to call me after hours as the on call doctor and made me cry basically saying my pain is all made up and there's no way that a certain procedure he had done could have had effects that did that to me. I feel alone, I feel ignored, and I feel like my pain does not matter to this doctor because he will not listen, he is stuck in his own ways of doing things and will not change and I had really high hopes, I feel so very let down.

I have been seeing Dr. Mandell for more than 15 years. He is kind, compassionate and excellent with his treatment plans. He helped to significantly improve my quality of life by reducing my migraine frequency from 4-5 per week to 2 or 3 per month. I highly recommend this physician.

He is the most unsympathetic and rude doctor I have EVER MET. He didn’t introduce himself, he wasn’t friendly. He basically told me my diagnosis isn’t real, I’m just depressed, to drink more water and exercise and my “headaches will go away”. He would not listen to me at all and dismissed anything I said without a single thought. He made fun of me, and treated me like I was dumb. I am utterly disgusted by this man. If you have chronic pain (migraines, NDPH, etc), he is a WASTE of time.

Dr. Mandell was thorough, professional and kind as we discussed what could possibly could be going on. I am a RN by profession yet I was treated as a patient and he never assumed I would understand what was going on. I HAVE sent patients to him that we're as scared as I was not knowing what could possibly wrong with me. I walked out relieved as well as assured I had been to the appropriate physician. (My second Neurologist, and the first was very dismissive with his WebMD print out *smh)

The doctor in that office is very good. I have been going there for over three years. But the lady that answered the phone has a tone that is so hateful. And I told her that. I am blue cross local. they take blue cross . On the second time around she was still hateful. She said as a act of kindness that would file. That took the second phone call to get that far. And her hateful tone was still there. The Fort Mill office. On my last visit she was the same way. I will never go back.

I wasn't going to post a negative review UNTIL I learned that this JERK is listed as a so-call specialist for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. Not only does he fail miserably as a neurologist for RSD/CRPS, but he neglected to run the appropriate blood tests to determine that I had Lyme disease! This is like a bad joke but the joke is on the patient who uses this man as a physician.

This doctor actually had the nerve to make fun of the manner in which I had to deal with Parkinson's. He made no attempt to listen to my recurring symptoms and provide sympathetic advice of any kind while suffering from this terrible illness. He was unprofessional. Talked at me and not to me. Did not attempt to understand my sensitivity to very powerful medications. He mad fun of the way I had to ration my medications because of tremendous side affects. The worst skills and bedside manner.
